We had a great meeting with the youth this evening. We had a Bible Study about Acts 1:8, the great commission and their responsibility under it.
We discussed in particular, the mission churches in the communities to the north, and the word they used about it was abandonado (abandoned). These churches have been without pastors for many years.
We had about 16 young adults (ages 16-33) in attendance and they are excited about forming up teams to go to these communities to minister on the weekends.
We will be meeting every Saturday evening from now on and also working in the evening with groups of people learning acoustic guitar, bass guitar and piano keyboard.
The dog crate came in handy as a good stand for the computer and digital projector. It was really good to begin teaching and team building.
You can click on the “communities” tab at the top of the page to learn a little more about these churches that we want to minister to.
