The communities are villages north of Bluefields in the Pearl Lagoon area. There are many needs in these areas.
Our goal is to work with the local pastors here in Bluefields to come up with a strategy for developing and supporting leaders for these churches, so that they can maintain a consistent witness and ministry to their community.
These churches do not have anyone to hold services on a regular basis. This will require leaders, and in many cases will also require buildings for the churches and homes for the pastors.
I hope that we can start by developing mission teams that will go up to these areas on the weekends to work in the ministry, then return to Bluefields during the week for additional training.
