The construction on the house is coming along fine. The inside walls are starting to go up. All of the material from Managua is finally arriving at the house.
We have already used up all of the 3/8 inch rebar and need to purchase more. The guys are using a LOT of steel in the construction of the house, but it is making it durable so that we can add a third floor if we ever need it.
We had a problem with the man who was working as our night watchman and also as a laborer. We found out that he had been stealing from us, so we had to let him go. After he was fired, we found that he was purchasing materials on our account at a local hardware store. The store acknowledged that they had made the mistake because they were not authorized to release materials to this person so we will not have to pay for it.
A lot of people are anxious to see the house completed because it is more than just a house. Most of the space will be used for computer training, music training and discipleship. The entire house will be 2400 square feet, and about 1600 square feet will be area for training.
Our foreman told us today that he is expecting to be done by May, perhaps sooner.
