We are mounting junction boxes just under the second floor so we can take power up to the plugs on the second floor and down to the first floor. These lateral beams are spaced every six feet to support the second floor fo the building. They are tied into the columns.
Here is a better view of the lateral beam, tied into the vertical columns. The beams are supported by round timbers while they are being formed and poured.
The plugs have to be cut into the existing walls. Here are the guys forming the rebar for the lateral beams.
