Update - Help Needed - 05.23.08

We need your help in purchasing ministry equipment and supplies for the upcoming year. Some items are quite small and others are large. Please consider how you can help out.- TJM

We need to purchase them now so that we can take them back in the container. Shipping to Nicaragua is expensive and buying the materials locally is difficult and expensive.

600 - Gospel of John - Spanish

250 - Gospel of John - English

200 - New Testament - Spanish

100 - New Testament - English

50 - Bibles - Spanish

25 - Bibles - English

We need these to use in discipleship and evangelism. If we are able to get more, we will gladly accept it. We are hoping to buy these in bulk if you want to contribute.

24 - Plastic chairs (Rubbermaid stackable type)
6 - Plastic tables (Rubbermaid type)
10 - Sets of 28 dominoes ($3 at Walmart)
Outdoor colored lights
1 - Freezer - for making frozen juices, ice

We are going to build a thatch roof shelter in the front yard where we can entertain neighbors. A lot of men will never go to church, but they will play dominoes all night. This wll be a great way to get acquainted.

2 - Large whiteboards (8 foot)

24 - Stackable classroom chairs (about $20-30 each)

We are hoping that maybe a used office furniture supply place will have the chairs at a reasonable cost.

1 - Digital projector bulb (about $400)

1 - Laptop computer - we need something with 1 gig of Ram and 100+ gig hard drive

1 - Small 1000 - 2000 watt generator - suitable for use with electronic equipment

The teens use the computer and projector to go into the communities and do evangelism, but their computer is very old. The projector bulb is needed as a replacement when the current bulb fails.

Bass guitar
Drum set
Acoustic and Electric guitar strings
Electric Keyboards
16 channel mixer

These items (except for guitar strings) are not critical ministry items, but would be helpful to have. Used items would be great.

We appreciate your wilingness to be involved in our ministry. Our list includes both large and small items. Soon our building will be complete and we will be able to focus all our efforts on discipling people and training leaders.

The building is coming well. The guys are working hard so that they will be ready to pour concrete within a week. God has graciously held off the rain, despite forecasts to the contrary.
