Our Current Situation

Our work here is financed through three sources:

Our Savings

We have invested almost all of our life savings building a ministry training center here in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Our home occupies about 25% of this space.

We do not feel an ounce of regret because that money is safe and secure in God’s hands, invested in his kingdom. This is something that nobody can take away.

Royalties

We have financed our living expenses from this source, but this money has dried up this year, as a result of the economy. This leaves us with a significant gap and rapidly diminishing savings.

Donations

We receive about $700 per month in regular donations from three sources plus several one time gifts for ministry needs throughout the year. This all goes towards ministry and travel expenses.

We have enough to allow us to stay here in the country for the remainder of this year, but if we do not replace our lost income, we will need to return to the US to work for much of next year.

WHAT NOW . . .

Raise Additional Support

We need to raise an additional $1000/month in support to cover our ministry expenses. Every little bit will help to reduce our cash drain, and push back the point at which we are forced to return to the US.

Work via Internet

Tim is further developing his web development skills so he can work via Internet from Nicaragua. Within two years we hope to be able to totally fund our living expenses from this work.

WHAT CAN YOU DO . . .

If you would like to join with us in this ongoing work, now would be a really good time to step forward.

We do not want anyone to feel pressured to give out of guilt or pity, nor should this take away from your regular church giving.

We wanted to give fully of ourselves before we pressed others to give to this ministry. We need people who will stand with us in sharing with their brothers and sisters in Nicaragua.

Please pray that God will make a way as only God can. We have always taught that you will never see a miracle unless you put yourself in a position where you need a miracle.
